The new job

Week one at the new job is in the books. Not bad. Only 10 mosquito bites on my face from my day getting reacquainted with working in the field!

I crave the comforts of my clean, cool, dry cubicle!

More Mobility

I'm sure blogging on an iPhone is nothing new, but the novelty hasn't worn off on me yet. Maybe 140 character tweets isn't enough to express oneself. Ah, it's probably more than enough!

Again...circle of life

Inalilahi Waina Ilahi Rajioon. Good bye Boro Chacha. I am thankful you aren't suffering anymore. I may never truly understand all the turmoil that was in your life, but I know that you were a great man, and I pray that you attain Jannat-ul-Firdaus.

...one life ends and one begins...

Welcome to the world little Arsh Asad. You are a new Canadian! A snow baby, and an olympic baby at that. May Allah bless you in your new life. May you grow up to know and love us all as we do you.

May our family find peace.

The Next Phase

I'm sitting here in my room for one last time. The room is empty, except for some patches of excessive dust. I leave behind 8+ years in this condo to embark on a whole new life. One accumulates so much in that time. Is that why we pay people to discard our miscellaneous junk?!

In a few hours I'll be on a plane bound for the DR to wed my wonderful fiancee in front of my friends...but not family. It's a bittersweet moment and tremendous sacrifice that I pray will one day make everyone happy.

My heart will always be full of love for my soon-to-be-wife, family, and friends. Rest assured that I will be there for all of them.
